La organización del Departamento del Norte: los Llanos de Apan y la Sierra de Puebla durante la Independencia

Resumen

The present article forms part of a more extensive research about the insurgence in the Plains of Apan and the Mountain Range of Puebla. This paper covers particularly one aspect of the insurgent movement of the region: the supposed disorder and lack of control of those insurgents and realists that left behind abundant mentions, and who remained abundantly registered in the historiography of the first half of the 19th century. These characteristics, however, are not as clear according to documentation generated in the region.
