Resumen

This work analyzes the principal details of the expeditions implemented for the diffusion of inoculation and vaccinations against smallpox in New Spain between 1797 and 1813. Also, it tries to show that novohispanic participation was very important and that it determined a different dynamic in the prevention of the disease.
